The Dimplex Ignite Evolve 50-inch linear electric fireplace (EV50) is designed to work in both modern and traditional spaces, pairing ultra-realistic flames with multi-tonal tumbled glass media in amber, charcoal, and white plus lifelike driftwood molded from real logs. Five adjustable flame speed settings let you match the fire to the room’s energy, while patented Dimplex flame technology keeps the look vivid and natural, echoing a traditional wood fire. Now outdoor-rated for approved outdoor installations, the EV50 can be used in select covered outdoor living areas as well as indoors when installed according to the manual.
Behind the glass, the Ignite Evolve series offers dual 120V/240V operation with Comfort$aver® supplemental heating delivering up to 8,530 BTU of efficient warmth, or flame-only operation when you just want the look. The slim chassis is sized at 51-1/2" W x 16-1/2" H x 5-7/8" D (with trim) and installs fully recessed in 2x6 construction or partially recessed in 2x4 walls with the trim kit accessory, making it a practical fit for feature walls and media builds. Day to day, you can manage settings from the Flame Connect app, the included remote, or the hidden control panel, dialing in flame speed, color, and ember bed to suit the moment without the complexity of gas lines or venting.
